The Jillibean has one major pet peeve, when people say things like...

ATM Machine

and

PIN Number

umm hello people, that's repetitive, and redundant. That's repetitive and redundant (Gilmore Girls anyone?)

ATM stands for Automated Teller Machine. If you say ATM Machine you are really saying Automated Teller Machine machine. Completely unnecessary.

Same for PIN. It stands for Personal Identification Number. Adding Number to the end leads to the stupid Personal Identification Number number. Dumb.

Lil Sis recently pointed out a new acronym that is sure to annoy me. Oprah just launched her new channel. OWN. Oprah Winfrey Network, but you know that people will be calling it OWN network. Oprrah Winfrey Network network. I can't wait....

p.s. I was just rereading I Am Number Four last night and it mentioned the GPS System... dang editors.
